Ingredients of Chicken Shawarma Roll

  1. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Dry Roasted Spice Mix.
  2. Prepare 200 g of Chicken Breast.
  3. You need to prepare 1 cup of Yogurt.
  4. You need to prepare 2 Tbsp of Ginger-garlic paste.
  5. Prepare 1 pinch of Turmeric Powder.
  6. You need to prepare 1 tsp of Red Chili Powder.
  7. You need to prepare 1 tsp of Kashmiri Red Chili Powder.
  8. You need to prepare as required of Juice of 1 Lemon.
  9. Prepare as per taste of Salt.
  10. You need to prepare 2 tbsp of Vegetable Oil.
  11. You need to prepare 3 cup of All-purpose flour.
  12. You need to prepare 1 pinch of Baking Soda.
  13. You need to prepare 1 pinch of Baking Powder.
  14. Prepare as needed of Egg white of 1 egg.

Chicken Shawarma Roll instructions

  1. Dry roast and ground whole cumin, coriander, maze, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, dry red chilli. Store the spice mix for various non veg dishes.
  2. Marinate chicken breast with beaten yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, pinch of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, lime juice, salt, spice mix and vegetable oil, in refrigerator for 12 hrs.
  3. For wrap, add pinch of baking powder and baking soda to all-purpose flour. Mix egg white with yogurt and beat till lumps free. Add this mixure to the flour, add salt and make a soft dough. If too stiff add warm milk. Brush oil on the dough and keep covered for 6hrs.
  4. Grease a pan with oil and add the chicken and cook both side. Once done shred the chicken into small strips.
  5. Add finely chopped cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum, and lettuce(Cabbage can be used if lettuce is not available) to mayonnaise. I have used tandoori mayonnaise.
  6. Divide the dough to small balls and flatten to make the wrap and bake both side on a tawa. Don't use oil.
  7. Spread some mayonnaise on the wrap, add some of the shredded chicken, add some of the mayo-veggie mix, add onion rings, ketchup and roll the wrap.
  8. Don't make multiple folds, roll the wrap just to wrap everything well. Wrap with a tissue paper and enjoy your Chicken Shawarma Roll at home.
